GRRM’s official site has an updated “From My Readers” section featuring more fan art and pictures and an update to “News” noting that Subterranean Press has now sent its limited edition A Storm of Swords (with illustrations by Charles Vess) to the printer, with an expected ship date to customers of August or September.
Continuing his series of Targaryen portraits, Amok has received descriptions of Good Queen Alysanne and Queen Rhaenyra (of the Dance of the Dragons) from GRRM, and posted the results.

The Brotherhood without Banners, the George R. R. Martin fan club, has announced its annual Worldcon Raffle Fundraiser. The list of prizes is extensive—including a limited edition print by Mike S. Miller, a limited edition copy of the Hedge Knight comic’s first issue, audiobooks for the A Song of Ice and Fire series, and more.

Fantasy Flight Games has announced that the latest expansion of its A Game of Thrones Collectible Card Game has now been released. More information can be found here.

The ballot for the 2006 Hugo Awards, in which A Feast for Crows is among the nominees for Best Novel, is now available. Eligible voters are those who are registered (either as supporting or attending members) as members of L.A. Con IV, to be held in Anaheim, California from August 23rd to 27th. It promises to be the biggest Brotherhood without Banners bash ever, and GRRM will definitely be an active participant.
If you are planning to go, but aren’t yet a member, go and get that done before July 31st, which is the voting deadline for the Hugos. Note that you can get a comprehensive list of the nominees, plus links to many of the short fiction works, here.
Testors is proud to share a few images of a complete pewter statue of the “Ruby Ford” scene, sculpted by Tom Meier. The limited edition sculptures (as well as model kits for those who’d like to build and paint the figures for themselves) can be purchased here. Testors adds that the sculptures will soon begin shipping, once the limited edition boxes arrive. Once this happens, Testors will announce the next item in the 54mm miniatures series.
